Can watches not serve style as well as function?

I have one sorta like this
And this one
I remember this thread from a few years ago, and figured I should get me a new watch. Unfortunately, I can't stand jewelry, so both of them are in a drawer somewhere at home.

Courtesy of my husband's obsession (sorry, undying love and devotion, not obsession) to watches, I have this:
As a midsize, not ladies size. I don't think I can go back to a small watch now again. Guess I really shouldn't complain too much about the watches - I get new Coach purses when he usually buys watches.
Hubby has a Submariner and a Panerai - I'll let him show you pictures next time he's on CP - gosh knows he takes enough of his darn wrist.

WHAT?
I've had a Nixon for almost 6 years now and it is one of the best watches I've ever had. I wear it through thick and thin and the thing still looks as good as the day I bought it.
BTW, I believe NIXON is a watch brand not fashion. They went from watch to fashion IIRC.

Surprisingly, I found it at a Fossil Outlet store in Vegas. They had a decent selection of Armani watches at great prices.

Skagen Titanium series. Very light, thin and simple, looks great IMO.
I wear this almost everyday.

Why isn't Nixon a watch brand?

Even though a majority of this thread is from a couple years back, I am surprised a watch thread actually got this big. Walking around campus I barely see anyone with a watch on...young people these days.
I also wanted to see longsufferings collection , it sounded pretty interesting!

I wear a Traser P6500 with The Band it is really nice to have a velcro strap on the water, and a band that if one pin breaks you don't lose your watch.

I've got 3 Skagens, a titanium, a steel, and a black/gold one. I am a big fan of their style.
I also have a half-dozen other watches - I like wearing different watches every day, although my titanium Skagen is my favorite and gets extended wrist time. I don't know what it is about watches, but I love 'em.

More Nixon love from me. My current watch:
I love it. It was a different look for my chunky wrist at first, but I got used to it. Get lots of compliments on it.
