Flames have no shots in the third period and can't break through into the offensive zone.

We are absolutely struggling against a bottom feeder.

Sure, tank if you must, but we have to be better against teams like this.

At the game tonight… didn’t see what happened to Hanley. Been seeing all sorts of d-combinations over the last period plus.

What did I miss?

Or maybe the Flames are also bottom feeders and just playing a normal game with good competition.

These are 2 teams in the bottom 8 out of 32 teams. Thats pretty bottom feeder.

To be honest, if they're going to have a #### game, I would rather it be against a #### team. I would rather see them play great against the Avs, then play great against the Ducks. Like, who really cares about this game?

Lucky goal. But that offsets the lucky goal for the Ducks.

If they play better, they win this game and the tanking is gone.

People are never happy.

I wonder if they will extend Kuzmenko next year? Seems like a great guy to keep around

Whoa, settle down there! I'm not totally against him re-signing a sweetheart deal like that. But if he finishes the year strong, and plays lights out up to the deadline, you gotta flip him, no doubt. This team's still years away from contending.

Kuzmenko is the definition of a pump-and-dump guy to me. Give him a ton of ice time, let him get a bunch of goals, sell him for the best pick you can get, and then try to sign him again as a UFA if you want.

Kadri and Kuzmenko each have 6 points in the last 3 games (including tonight)

But if you can get him onto a better contract, and you can round out his game defensively,
you can trade him for substantially more in a couple years.

And you have an entertaining guy on a boring roster, in the meantime
