Young team that wasn't mentally tough enough, that's what we saw today.

The high-stick was complete BS but you can't let something like that deflate you. They stopped attacking and were on their heels.
I'll cheer for them until the bitter end but damn this was pretty much a must win and there's no excuse for letting the 4-1 lead slip away. Can't see Elliott getting the start game 4 either.

Also, hate the Ducks so much right now.

Yeah I'm boycotting the rest of the playoffs when we're done.

The two no-goals. The Hamilton call. Absolutely affected the outcome of both games, even with the gaffes from the Flames.

I ain't watching a tainted product any more this year. Glad I saved my money on merch the past week as well.

Yup. Even if the high stick goal was disallowed Anaheim was tying that came up. Elliott wasn't stopping anything. Team stopped playing.

They were the ONLY team I prayed the Flames wouldn't get for the exact reason we are seeing. They have the Flames #. Plain and simple.

Eff the Honda center, eff the Ducks and eff the people who yearned for this series.

The Flames are a good team. They can run with almost anyone, and have shown bright spots against Anaheim, but as a young core how can you possibly fathom they can put together the kind of game (Flawless) they need to beat Anaheim. Let alone 4 wins. Still eff Toronto's head office for calling that Thompson goal good. Holy.

And Elliott, way to stink up the net. The whining on the tying goal irked me to no end

Ducks OWNED us in the cycle game down low... it was men against boys quite honestly... really embarrassing... might be time to use a first round pick on a defenseman

We can say that the Flames have been the better team in two of the three games and better 5 on 5 in game one. But the bottom line is that not only has this team had some incredibly bad bounces and even bad calls. But they're not the better team when they needed to be and that was tonight when the Flames were up by three goals.

I don't have much hope for game four, there's no way that this team isn't completely demoralized, and I don't think you can pull a team out of that in two days. Sure they'll say the right thing but I doubt they'll believe it when they feel the cosmos is conspiring against them.

I'm up in the air as far as watching game 4, I think I'll work on my playbook for football and do something that I can control.
