So was anyone else thinking the same thing I was in this last episode?
Spoiler!
In the final room they have to place the most important thing to Rick on the metal plate. They figure it is Morty so they put him up on plate.
Now here is where I was confused, Rick is one of the smartest beings in existence I'm sure he would have definitely had some sort of DNA scanner/fail safe.
So here is what I was thinking...possibly Noob-Noob is a version of Morty from one of the many dimensions Rick has visited
I thought that, but Rick said he was super drunk and he kinda eye balled the neutreno bombs. Its possible he was so drunk he slipped out,
and stopped caring

I got the impression that the ending was supposed to parody superhero/sci-fi movies where the final scene is weak but everything works out well and there's a big party. Rick by then had definitely just said F-it. I don't think it was supposed to make a whole lot of sense.

I love R&M. It has grown on me a lot and the show has only been getting stronger and more intelligent with each season.
Might be my favorite cartoon comedy/sitcom at this point.
Is there really anything else out there that is close? Family Guy jumped the shark years ago. The only close ones I could see are possibly Archer or Bob's Burgers and that is a stretch. I haven't loved a show this much since Futurama was on many moons ago.

Archer has waned and Bob's Burgers has definitely lost some of its luster.
Damn I miss Futurama. What a show!

Not getting the praise for (current) Archer. Those guys used to know when to end a show (Sealab and Frisky Dingo both ended before they got stale, though Sealab was only about 60/40 good after Harry Goz died, but that's not really their fault) but they keep dragging the Archer corpse around.
BoJack Horseman is right up there with R&M for quality of writing IMO. Digging season 3, but R&M is always better on a second watch so I'm stoked to re-watch the season later this year.
Yeah, Archer lost me when they become cocaine dealers. I still watch but it's mostly out of a feeling of obligation to the characters. I have a hard time quitting a show when I get deeply involved. I watched every episode of Weeds FFS.
I need to dig out my Sealab 2021 DVDs. That show was brilliant. I thought Frisky Dingo ended because it was cancelled, but I could be wrong.
Speaking of which, any Calgarians notice the giant floating head sticker plastered on somebody's window along Centre St? I kept thinking it was that annoying "laughing guy" meme, but on further review, it was one of the judges from the R&M episode.
