Sorry, the Oilers are cup "favourites" with that guy (Skinner) and Calvin Pickard?
If you say so.

He'd be a worthy captain for sure, but it's fine that he isn't. He brings it either way, IMO.
I don't mind Backlund as captain. He's a little milquetoast some times, but he's fine.

They probably tried. But when your opponent is, by definition, No Good, it's hard to match that.
Anyhow, as Terry Crisp used to say: ‘We'll take the two points.’

What people often overlook is that players get lots of chances and often blow them. But they get so many they produce more anyway.

Nope i'm not sending Tanev or Hanifin to the Oilers for all of king midas' silver. That defence sucks and they're not winning the cup the way it currently is.

What an ass kicking. What a fantastic game. Everyone gets a raise. Most fun I have had watching a hockey game in years.

Very few Flames games this year I've been engaged in from start to finish and enjoyed. Mind you, I haven't tuned in for many lately.
But that was a good one. Thank you boys!

Norm!

6-7-1 for the Oilers since the all star break, it looks like the wheels on the bus are going to beat the bus over the finish line.
The Oilers looked badly confused for most of the night until after the Flames scored the empty net goal.
As much as there's an impending feeling of doom around this Flames team, when they play they're a blast to watch.

Turn that off and put on 630 CHED to hear the callers! It'll be much more enjoyable.
