apparently the goals weren't Gillies' fault

Mark Divver @MarkDivver
Leaman clearly looking to spark his guys. Wouldn't call any of goals on Gillies soft.

Update on Providence:
- Jon Gillies has earned his 50th career NCAA victory in a 4-1 win.
- Jankowski had 2 assists in the last 3 games, all of them coming in the last of the three. He's got 17 points in 21 games, which pretty much leaves him tied for 3rd (5th, but two other players have 18 points in 4 more games)

Yes. Providence's scoring leaders are Mingoia (24 points), Saracino (21), Luke/Acciari (18), and then Jankowski (17 in 4 less games). It's also worth noting that all the other players are a bit older than Jankowski (22-24).

Damn, really like Gilmore and Providence is a lesser team without him.

A 3 point game would be nice, haven't seen one of those from Jankowski in a while.

UConn spoils Gillies shutout bid on their 17 shot.

9-1 with 14 minutes left in the third.

Jankowski still only has the 2 assists
