WCF: Edmonton Oilers (P3) vs Dallas Stars (C2) - Oilers win 4-1

Seems like the grease pigs have Dallas figured out after beating them last year. I thought Rantanen would be the game changer but he’s been pretty quiet so far. So aggravating that their weak link (goaltending) is suddenly showing up.
For those who watched the game, was skinner actually good? Or is Dallas just not getting high danger looks? I can’t trust any Canadian social media.

If you'd just learn to ignore it. I have somehow got the ability to just glaze over the bicker nerd fights. It took a while to get this skill but I did it.

I think the Oilers are going to win the cup and I am mentally preparing already for it like going to your creepy uncles house for a sleep over when your a teenager. I am pre-calling the cup win to oiler co-workers that include "go oilers" at the bottom of emails.

I think all of us need to start prepping for the worst.

Panthers are still a big snarly team with skill. And they know what it takes from last year. They'll be doing everything they can to repeat. If Dallas doesn't win the next game they're toast.

I don’t know why nobody gave Nurse a whack or two on top of the laces once the game was out of hand. That really hurts as Hintz knows. Or instead of Nurse, maybe give 97 a whack and see if coach was right or not about how the refs call it

There are a few posters who try to egg others on with personal attacks. Most people know who those people are and ignore them. Often those posters meet, go at each other, and gum up otherwise good threads.

It was always in the cards. The Oilers will lose in Game 7 in the finals 2 years in a row. The Panthers better sweep tomorrow night to rest for the big Blue Machine! lol

DeBoer and the coaching staff need to make adjustments, strategic adjustments.

Players need to execute, but coaches can’t watch this, analyze what’s happened in the last two games, and not make adjustments.

I’m not a fan of their lines, but it’s more than that. Forecheck, neutral zone defense and transitioning, and break outs of their offensive zone all need corrections.

Players still need to execute, but the Dallas coaching staff must be working diligently to make the minimum adjustments.

Can’t get a worse result a year later in the WCF.

Losing faith after the results in game 2 and 3, but if they could figure out a way to get the win in game 4, it’s a still a series.

I have to stop reading comments on social media that accompany Dallas/Edmonton game clips. Is there a trashier and dumber fanbase anywhere in sports than oilers fans? Apparently the hit on brown was dirty, but he got up and didn’t ’roll around and act’ like Hintz. And the majority of the posts have terrible grammar and spelling, about grade 3 level. They are still calling Hintz a diver. And Dallas is apparently the worst divers in the nhl. My god.
