His energy is probably helping his play. And subsequently - his great play is helping his energy and endearing him to the crowd.
It’s rare that a depth guy like this takes the fanbase by storm. Full marks for everything he’s done 8% of the way through the season

If he caught that Josh Lowe homer.... that would've been insane.

Oh and he was close too. Darn close. And could tell by his reaction he thought he was going to get it too. The dome would have exploded

What a beautiful change to a beautiful game. Completely necessary.

The new pace of the game is WAY better. It used to be that later innings could take 45 minutes each, with multiple pitching changes, and everyone collecting their thoughts between each pitch - it could be torturous, if you had things to do. When I taped a game, I always ran it for 4.5 hours, to ensure I caught the shole thing. Now, you can count on a game being between 2.5 and 3 hours, like a hockey game. And some are under 2.5
It's a massive improvement from a fan-viewing perspective.
And the time clocks add a dimension of pressure, which is also cool.

Obviously early still but this is so far, one of the most surprising (to the upside) signings I’ve ever seen the Jays make. Extend him!

we didn't all hate it!

Teo was a terrible fielder. He didn’t make catches when he stood still and it landed two feet in front of him at times.

I was one of them, and so far I’m wrong. Let’s see how the season plays out but he has been a pleasant surprise.

I noticed umps still occasionally check pitchers hands. Has anyone been caught with something lately? Can't remember when the last time someone was
