Good for Bennett for turning things around. Betting he’s a happy camper finding a better fit. Getting confidence back and feeling wanted does wonders for performance.
Hopefully we can find one or two guys like that in the offseason.

Weegar is true cinderella story. He wasn't even drafted in juniors and was drafted late in the 7th round as an overager by the Panthers. Spent several years in the ahl, started as a third pairing guy finally in the nhl and worked his way up all the way to being a true first pairing guy at the age of 27. He's beaten the odds by a country mile.

Glad for Sam and the Panthers. This team really needs to win a little if they hope to stick around in the long run.

I never know whether or not to include one or two "t's" in Sam Bennet(t)'s name.
Hot take #2:
Sam Bennet(t) would have a better career if he went by his middle name (Hunter).
Hunter Bennet(t) sounds like a way better player.
