You never know. If some of the guys on the Whitecaps play their cards right and maybe sweet talk Steve Nash he could put a good word in with his brother I guess.

Bought my tickets. Section 103. Looking forward to it.

Got tickets from a vendor.. Unsure if I will be able to make it as its Stampede. But I had a lot of fun at the last game I went to so I'm going to try.
I sure hope they sort out the lines though. Waited a long time for stuff last time.

Game day! Tonight could be a good test. Halifax have only lost once at home (against Vaughan Azzurri no less!), but haven't necessarily had a potent offence. I am interested in seeing the Wanderers Grounds on the broadcast. I have fond memories of a few visits to Halifax, and I can picture the locals having a good time with this league.
That being said, I think that Cavalry should prevail. The big variable between tonight and Saturday is travel, but I think that Cavalry have their eyes on the prize and have the depth to rotate the squad a little if needed.
Remember: 4pm kickoff! Commuting football. That will be a new and unique thing - driving home and listening to the Cavs.

Near as I can tell, Cavalry hasn't figured out purchase limits for booze. So just get there early, get your food then, and buy as much beer as you think you'll need for the game in one shot.

The travel is kind of ridiculous this week. YYC --> HFX --> YYC --> York, all in 10 days.

Another shame. Was going to look for some tickets and attend my first game but not at those prices.

I believe in the Jays.

It looks like a lot of the $60 tickets are sold now for both the Forge this weekend and the Whitecaps. Should be good crowds for both games as long as the weather isn't too terrible.

Shermanator - do you have any idea how many tickets are sold in the standing room and the Officers Club sections? has the team ever made that known?
And yeah, both those games are looking to be pretty good. 3500-4000 for Forge, and 4000+ for Vancouver.

My understanding is Officers Club is about 200 tickets. No clue on standing room.

It's hard to assess how many standing room/general admission tickets are even sold, as I feel most of them migrate to the empty seats.

It's also Elimination Day. If Cavalry win HFX is no longer in contention, and we are that much closer to winning the inaugural spring season.

Yeah, you'd never know by counting people. Would be nice to know if they sell say 500 SRO tickets or 750, etc.

OneSoccer is producing a weekly recap show. Sometimes it isn't visible from the front page, so some may not realize.
Anyway - a new one got posted today if anyone is looking for a place to catch up on what's going on around the league.
Edit: Thought that link would take you straight there. Just look for "League in Review".
For subscribers, obviously.

A tie eliminates Halifax and Winnipeg as well.

Halifax's goalie didn't deserve that 2-0 goal after the save he made.
