I mean has no one read a biography of a successful musician? Do you honestly think a comment like "When you're famous and on the road women are throwing themselves at you. You wouldn't believe the stuff they'll let you do. You can just walk up and grab them in the p***y!" would be out of place in the average rock biography?
And to be clear, I'm not condoning assault, misogyny, or the like, but I am saying that if Trump's language on this issue is beyond the pale for you you'd better throw out all of your albums, stop watching professional sports, and vote exclusively for women for any high power political offices, beause, again, IMO most men in positions of high power/fame/status are somewhere on the pig spectrum at least some of the time.

The difference is that nobody expects Mick Jagger to sit down at a table with rape survivors and work with them on crafting legislation about their rights, or go to other countries in the world where women's rights are deplorable, and try to engage with leaders of those countries about meaningful change to women's rights. There are very practical, obvious reasons why we hold political figures to higher moral standards than others: because we are counting on them to craft the policies and legislation that describe what we aspire to, not what we are in our worst moments.

It matters for the GOP overall though. I think Trump is toast already but it could go from embarrassing presidential defeat to seriously affecting senate and house races down ballot. Even if they disavow him now they still nominated him to begin with and that's looking worse by the day.

The majority of the rank and file of the GOP doesn't want the leadership to disavow Trump. Is that just sunk cost fallacy by voters? Or is it just another indication of the deep divide between the leadership/establishment and the people of the GOP? I'm not sure a complete meltdown with Trump walking out would change that divide.

There are a much higher number of undecideds than any of the recent elections. They're certainly not inconsequential

Looks like she does mostly kids shows now, and doesn't have The Apprentice on her IMDB page, but does have The Casino, which was another awful Mark Burnett "reality" show from the same time frame as The Apprentice.

He ran in 2008. One of the worst campaigns in history.

Yeah, you just know that Clinton is out there to inflict maximum damage at this point, not just to Trump but to the whole GOP. The timing of this leak was about as difficult as it could be for representatives running for re-election, and if she's got more leaks of even worse footage planned, then look out, the House might just be in play. And it's arguably going to hurt Republicans long after this election as Trump-disavowers find themselves the target of vindictive primary challenges by fringe candidates who'll get destroyed in general elections.

There are previous allegations of trump going up to a woman and grabbing her by the #####. So it makes it into a confession by a person who doesn't understand consent rather than boasting about what women will let you do.

There will be a miss Piggy question for sure even if the questions were selected prior to Friday. So on at least one question there will be a legitamate opportunity for thugs to blow up.

So this will likely get lost in all of the other debate in the media, but this article links those huge tax breaks that Trump received in part to Trump's shady practices of not paying contractors.
http://fortune.com/2016/10/08/donald...s-contractors/
Short explanation:
1. Get contractors to perform the work, and invoice for the full amount.
2. Claim those invoices as part of a business loss, creating huge tax breaks.
3. Only pay back a portion (30%) of the invoices, but still keep the full tax break created.

Grabbing a stranger by the vagina and then getting away with it because your wealthy is still sexual assault. Full stop. What disgusting expectations do you have of women and celebrities? Locker room banter:
"totally banged that chick last night. was awesome"
"would love to bang that chick so and so"
"oh I'd love to bang that chick and her mom at the same time high five"
NOT locker room talk
"isnt it great that we can grab strange womens vaginas and thats ok because were football stars on campus??"
