I bought my custom Seahawks jersey over the phone. In the end I decided to pick it up when I went for a game but they were willing to ship to Canada. Also helps that Alberta is their "home region" so they might make exceptions.

Blake Bortles is pretty much the greatest example of why stat lines can be incredibly misleading. Fantasy players should love this cause it doesn't matter, but no one owns garbage time like Blake. Gonna be interesting to see how it goes with him come contract time. Career stats...

First quarter: 1,598 yards, 4 touchdowns
Second quarter: 2,356 yards, 15 touchdowns
Third quarter: 1,912 yards, 13 touchdowns
Fourth quarter: 3,364 yards 26 touchdowns

Well a guy who puts up good 4th quarter numbers isn't necessarily bad. But you need to measure how many of those yards and touch downs really mattered.

Guys like Rivers and Luck also put up big 4th quarter numbers...difference is that it gets their teams in position to win. Scoring 3 TD's when you were already down 28 points with the last one as time expires is meaningless.

He plays for the Jags, that should answer the question as to how many 4th quarter yards mattered.

Where did you find quarters splits?

Most QBs even on better teams will throw for more yards and TDs in 4Q. I'd be interested to see his other more important stats like YPA and completion percentage in each Quarter.

PFT laid it out. And here's a bit more information on it

Quote:
Bortles puts up huge stats in the fourth quarters of games. Now, if Bortles were doing that while leading fourth-quarter comeback wins, it would be one thing. But the Jaguars are 10-26 in Bortles’ 36 career starts, and Bortles has engineered just five game-winning drives in his three NFL seasons.

From your previous post, I knew Bortles basically wasn't getting it done. This helps a bit in terms of determining how garbage the stats really are.

I'd be interested to see how a guy like Matt Stafford would rank. He does have some 4th quarter comeback wins. But his career record is somewhat poor at 46-54. Although if you throw out his first year after joining an 0-16 team it's 44-46 which is mediocre. He's thrown for huge yardage, I would guess much of that is also 4th quarter yardage. But how much of it mattered?

In Bortles case...I think he's a good fantasy guy, and as a fantasy owner of his, you do get excited when you see the Jags down 27-0 at the half.

They probably figured out he was a double agent.

Nick Foles is in at QB for the Chiefs on their first drive. Alex Smith took a hit to the head and got up wobbly.

How are these kickers missing these FG's in OT?

Sigh...typical KC game in Indy. Damn do I ever hate the Colts.

Colts defence hasnt hit anythingall yer and destroy the Chiefs QB on the first drive.

Bucs are down 17-16 and Aguayo misses the XP. A 2nd rounder well spent.
