Condors tie it up. Sounds like Wotherspoon made a bad play.

2g and 1a for Shinkaruk tonight.
Went pointless his first 2 games with the Heat but now has 8 points in his last 8 games.

Maybe we should have taken Shinkaruk?

It's going to take some time, but hopefully one day us Flames fans look back on the 1st round of the 2013 NHL entry draft and laugh heartily at our good fortune. (I mean, more than we already do with Monahan)

Derek Grant. Poor bugger breaks his jaw in freakin practice and misses a month and a half right in the heart of call up season, then proceeds to come back and score 3 goals & 2 assists in his two games since returning.
What a year he's having. Size, speed and what looks to be a bit of a late developing scoring touch. Too bad he's UFA, I'd hate to lose him without really getting a real good look at him in the NHL. From what he's done in the AHL this year, and his brief stint earlier in the NHL I'd much rather have him as our 4th line center making under $1 million than Stajan's bloated $3 million plus.

brutal highlights, but a nice pass from Shinkaruk on the 1st goal and a real nice play by Poirier on the 5th goal.
