Wallace is interesting, but not so much. Jays paid only money to get him, so why not? But still little chance he'll do anything with his career at this point. The kid was really getting fat, I wonder how much he took care of himself? More of a project, but more than likely a guy who'll just fill out their AAA roster if anything.
The Blue Jays are part of an “ongoing dialogue” regarding Chase Headley, Rosenthal’s colleague Jon Morosi tweets. The Jays have shown interest in Headley in the past.
I don't know what is in AA's head or Rogers' for that matter but this just seems against anything the Jays actually need. Headley is on the last year of his contract so the Jays can't control him, he plays 3B and LF as far as I know which means Lawrie stays at 2nd which is a waste of his fielding talent and bat on the corner, and Headley is a terrible bat and that the Jays can already have on the corner from within. Unless Headley is an incredible fielder and can play 2nd, this makes no sense. If prefer they try harder for a different Chase.
Jays have also checked in on recently released Alfonso Soriano but Soriano is mulling over his options; this per the same website.

Gose is a maddening player. He makes too many mental mistakes for a guy that is a tweener and has holes in his game. Just got picked off by starting back to 1st but not going all the way back.

What a weird little implosion from Mark Beurhle there. Loses his balance throwing a pitch, 5-3 Jays, then gives up a two run hit, 5-5 Jays. I still think they Jays take this game.
