Get the "stop wasting my time" mod as well from the Steam workshop. It speeds up some of the animations and stuff

Oh yeah, I saw that there were mods for it and immediately got giddy. Gonna run through the game on its own first and then start dicking around with mods.

That one is fine for the first playthrough, it doesn't change the game it just speeds up some of the delays and pauses.
After you've played the base game get and the expansion definitely give the Long War 2 mod a go.

Actually, Steam will track how many hours you spend in-game. It's count-more.

Long War 2 is amazing. I second that recommendation. Also, if you have the Alien Hunters DLC you may wish to turn that off.

Outstanding game. I knocked off the platinum trophy a few weeks back, and had a blast the entire time.
Extremely well done remake.

I bought RE2 at lunch and downloaded it while I was at work this afternoon. I liked what I saw from the trial but because of the time limit I felt rushed.

The whole collection is now $30 on GMG. Also Sims 4 is available for free on Origin until May 28th.

I started playing Apex Legends this week. No game has ever made me feel so useless. Drop, die, drop, die. Then two guys carried me to victory and now I’m hooked. But yeah, it’s a tough game.

Picked up the new Total War: Three Kingdoms last week - haven't had a chance to try it yet but all signs seem to point to it being very good.

I can't wait to give it a try too. Supposed to be the best Total War in a long time

Looks interesting, how bad is the pay to win?

None — micro transactions are only for cosmetics and a few other minor things (speeding up fusing of cells to make new ones, just minor boosts you can equip to items). Progression has been really fast otherwise — I’ve played maybe 7-8 hours and have a half dozen monsters unlocked I haven’t even fought yet.. It’s like a more accessible and intuitive Monster Hunter, but without that game’s production values and ridiculous depth.

Oh cool, nice!
Yeah Monster Hunter was just... intimidating.
I get it's meant to be teams, but how solo accessible is it?

It's pretty decent for solo, more fun with a buddy or two. You just can't play any of the support weapons if playing solo.
The game gives you a Palico to help out if you're playing with only 1 or 2 people as well, as the difficulty does not scale.

I just couldn't get into Monster Hunter World. I'm not one of those guys that just because a game didn't click with me that I'm going to say it sucks as it's obviously a really good game but for some reason after several hunts I lost the desire to continue.
