My team is based out of Montreal and nobody expects me to login to anything for Alberta holidays which is nice. And though I'm technically working during the Quebec specific holidays, it's not like there's a whole lot to do when the rest of my team is off

Being self employed is great. You can observe every country’s holidays.

I've tried two gluten-free beers. I discovered the best part of beer is the gluten.

It’s like rubbing salt in the wound to tell a celiac that the only beer option they have is pure garbage. You have to play along. “Yeah, this is just as good… no, it’s better than normal beer. In fact this will be my new house beer “.

I hate lines and amusement-park crowds. So when we decided to take the kids to Disneyworld when they were little, I planned the #### out of the trip in order to minimize the amount of time we stood in line or on transportation and maximize the time on rides and having fun.
I used the Touring Plans app to plan everything. It tracks wait times for every ride and food kiosk by the hour, and even how much time it takes to walk from one attraction to another. The itinerary I generated from it worked like a charm. We did three parks in three days (Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Epcot), and hit everything we wanted to see. My wife still marvels at how smoothly the trip went.

They're pretty awesome hardboiled and added to a noodle soup. But if you want to do this specifically, get canned quail eggs vs manually boiling raw ones yourself. Cheaper and less of a PITA.
It's a nice occasional treat.

Really? It was $6 for 3 dozen. I think the peeling is what is going to kill me.

$4 for a can. Some places occasionally drop to $3 per can. I'm pretty sure you get at least two dozen per can, and then you just heat up with the soup and don't have to peel.
Won't help you with your current fresh ones, but for future it might be fun. Kids especially are amazed at the novelty of a tiny egg vs the normal sized eggs they normally eat.

The text cursor options for my work computer are stupid. One line add an obnoxious blob to the ends. Where the #### is the standard I shaped thing that didn’t fit nicely between text, wasn’t annoying and could easily be seen?

Ridemax is neat software.
https://ridemax.com/
It will plan your day for you and model where you should be when. Works really good to maximize your day. Some might say it takes out all the magic as you drag your children past a princess they want to meet to hit the ride schedule but if you want to do everything it’s awesome.
No matter what get there a minimum of half an hour and probably 45 minutes before. You want to be in line at the turnstiles at least 30minutes ahead so when they open the turnstyles you can get to the the rope you need to wait at for your first ride. Then you ride rides from open until noon. Then do whatever you want in terms of characters, parades, food etc. I’d do genie+ everyday if your kids are tall enough for those rides. I didn’t pay for single ride genies and just waited the 60 min for those rides
I liked Ridemax though because it took the thinking out of the mornings.

Only if they don't get it with a side glass of ice?
I'm not up on my Bro rules.

I loved it when Brewster’s used to serve the Wildrose Wraspberry topped with frozen raspberries.

The more recent hazy IPA craze was producing fairly tame, lower IBU beers. Before that though, the craze was the overhopped San Diego style double IPA. Those things were like lighter fluid. You don't generally see too many non hazy double IPAs anymore, but they seemed to be the fancy of beer snobs about 10 years ago.

AKA nerds who tried to make "liking" terrible beers their personality. Like they had tapped into some higher level taste bud action us basic bitches were ill equipped to access.
