Gtfoh, claiming. Gretzky as some untouchable line in the sand. We have a foreign leader threatening our homeland and you want to play both sides? Go away, and go away forever.

He joked about being Canada's governer and anyone who entertains the deranged fantasies of a Nazi is a Nazi. You being upset by that doesn't make you less of a quisling loser.

Any Canadian should support Trudeau over an American president threatening Canada no matter how much you hate him. Drinking the Koolaid and becoming a cult member is bad enough if you are american but to do it from another country is next level. If PP wants to be PM he will have to be harsh on that orange clown.

Yawn.

From 1-10, with 1 being boring and 10 being super good trolling, I give you a 1.5 at best. Really boring, and nothing we haven't seen... basically every other day. I would ask you to please come up with more interesting material to keep my attention, but it is late, and I would rather you just continue posting as you were so I can continue reading until you finally put me to sleep. Thank you in advance. It is late already.

The vile hatred for players on team USA and even Gretzky now is disturbing. Try reading up on the definition of fascist and you might not want to use the term so loosely to label others.
F Trump, Gretzky is a drunk, we love our country. Goodbye

People who think Trump's daily 51st state rhetoric is cute and harmless can truck on down to the border and live there with their wanna be leader.

I can assure you that you won't be missed.

America will look great on you too. Trump loves the uneducated.

If you want to vote conservative in Canada that's fine but I wish any of the Canadian Trump supporters would chime in and would show themselves.

Becomes easier to identify the people with bad morals, no empathy, and who would sell out their own country if it meant they might make an extra dollar.

Aka people I don't need to have any respect for.

If you're a Canadian that supports Trump right now then you're a traitor to Canada. That's not hyperbole, that's just a fact right now.

So the argument here is that if I don't condone labeling people fascists for either living in a certain country south of us or being in the presence of Trump without even knowing them personally or having any legit reasoning that I'm a fascist and Nazi as well (the bar has certainly been lowered to achieve such a conclusion). Great logic here. I guess it's impossible to be a person indifferent and unaffected by Trump rhetoric who believes that there isn't a clear side that has all the answers or solutions. I don't waste my energy or time getting riled up by media over things we literally cannot control. It's misguided anger and unproductive thought.

My request once again here to end the political content on what should be a celebration thread and tribute to a great win. I'll drift my way over to check out the off topic forum out of curiosity before I trigger more sensitive folks here.

Seems like you’re the one who got triggered. Instead of projecting, maybe read the room and use your brain next time.

I was born there and didn’t even take as much offence as you lol.

As a Canadian living in California it was a beautiful result. Can’t stand Brady Tkachuk.

It was crazy seeing the fan comments all week on both sides. A lot of low blows both ways, people are so vicious

Happy the right team won and 97 got the winner. When the tournament started I thought because it wasn’t the Olympics I wouldn’t tune in. This tournament exceeded my expectatios. I never want to see an all star game again. Looking forward to 1 year from now when we do get the Olympics. This tournament was great.

Great win Canada.

If you support or defend the Nazi / Fascists then you are one of the Nazi / Fascists.

That's how hard the line has to be. There can be no grey area on this. Right now if you support or defend Donald Trump, Elon Musk (Nazi hand gesture, and 14 words), Steve Bannon (Nazi hand gesture), and the rest of Trump's crew then you get grouped in with them.

So for the American players that sucked up and got all friendly with President Trump today. At the same time that he's calling Ukraine's president a dictator, meeting with Putin, supporting the German AFD party, and saying that Canada is going to be the 51st state and that Trudeau is a governor then yeah I'm going to group you in with him.

I'm not saying they needed to publicly criticize him, because I get there can be ramifications from that.

But if you're going to publicly support him and say you're going to "win for Trump". Well yeah then you're one of them and I'm going to group you in with the Facists / Nazis.

This shouldn't be that hard to understand.

People have downplayed, laughed off, and shrugged off the threat of this psychopath for too long now and it's why the world is even in this situation.
