I guess there's enough rich folk attending the Super Bowl that they can get away with charging that kind of pricing but man that's a lot of money for Crown Royal and some fruit juice. No wonder the NFL prefers Visa.

Lol. They were not only top 5, they were historically good this year. League's best D and rushing attack. 2nd in point differential. Most points ever scored in the playoffs. And then they knocked off a behemoth looking to threepeat.

Where's the luck?

I mean they did get lucky if you think about it. Instead of getting a tough first round opponent like Washington, they got an automatic bye in Green Bay. If they got Washington in the wildcard round they might have gone out then. Instead, they drew the worst team in the playoffs, by far.

Plenty of championship teams have luck on their side. The fact that this Eagles team destroyed the Chiefs in a playoff game is all I need to be convinced they are fully deserving of their rings.

Yeah it's not luck at all when you have the #1 defense and a guy that almost broke the league rushing record.

They lost 3 games all season and two of them were by a combined 4 points. 16-1 in the last 17 games of the year including playoffs.

Put up 40+ points in both the NFC Championship and Super Bowl with their defense also peaking in the playoffs.

A deserved Super Bowl Champion.

Definitely deserved, if anything KC was the lucky team to be there, how many games did they win at the last second by one score or less (often with an assist to the officials).

And to quote from Clint Eastwood and Snoop from the Wire, "Deserve got nuthin to do with it". They earned it by beating the teams in front of them. The notion you gotta beat a murderers row for a title to be worthy is silly.

Kendrick has always been one of my favourite rappers - he's actually the one I was the most excited about in that star-studded halftime show from a couple years ago - but I lost a lot of respect for him with how low he went in that beef.

Just with the whole illegitimate child thing...even the mafia knows you don't mess with their family in a feud. Trash move. Can't believe how much respect people gave him from that, it's pretty much how he landed the halftime show gig.

I personally had the Eagles as the 2nd best statistical profile behind only the Ravens, and the head to head the Eagles won that game pretty handily. So the Eagles in my eyes are as legitimate a Champion as you can be. Had the Lions been healthy...an Eagles and Lions game could have been pretty good. But Philly stayed healthier, and if you're too stupid to not recognize how good of a roster Howie Roseman has assembled...there is no helping you. The question marks are Siriani as the HC, which he likely has silenced now, and maybe Hurts health as the playoffs started. So long as Fangio is there to run the defence and they don't bungle the OC hire, they'll be a good bet to repeat next year.

I mean, Drake went there first though? And Not Like Us isn't about that, it's about calling Drake a pedo and saying he used ATL artists to falsely give himself an air of credibility.

Oh they both come off trashy, don't get me wrong...but Kendrick took it to a whole other level. Even name-dropped the kid in question, brutal. It was in Meet the Grahams. That's way too far IMO, I just don't see Kendrick the same way anymore after that.

...but I know the thread we're in, so I'll leave it at that.

Meh rap has had a lot of this throughout history. Fueds are a bit part of raps history, agree it can stay out of politics though.

People act like 2Pac and Biggie was the only old rap fued and it ended up with them being shot.

Jay-Z and Nas
Ja Rule and 50 Cent
Easy-E and Dr. Dre
NWA and Ice Cube

Many more too.

Oh man do you guys remember a week ago when the Eagles spent four quarters putting belt to ass against the Chiefs? You member, it was that time they put up the most points in a postseason run in history? That was a good time.
