That Lions defense is arguably the worst in the league and Rourke still doesn't look like he's 100% clicking despite putting up decent numbers. The Lions have problems.

I know he's a DB blitzing but why would you lead with your head when attempting to sack a QB? Just tackle him or wrap him up. Just a dumb play all around.

Its the old school tackling technique, or what they called the Seattle method, where you get your head almost horizontal to the grass.
In youth football, we teach heads out or safe contact tackling, where you whip your head to the sky pre contact and wrap and drive.
However I really don't think they teach safe contact at the pro or college level.
This is the worst public relations for me because the pro's make the game look really unsafe at times, and parents won't sign their kids up based on what they see on TV.

CSEC need to do more ticket price slashing and promotion. Where are the free bobbleheads or posters for the first 10,000 fans? Take a page out of the minor league baseball teams in terms of cool/fun/unique game promotions and freebies. Everything builds off atmosphere. Why does Winnipeg sell out every game (beyond winning which helps considerably)? it is because they have a game day atmosphere that people want to be a part of because it is fun and exciting. BC has moved towards this and seen a couple big crowds. I notice the eastern teams (Hamilton, Ottawa, and Montreal) seem to have lively crowds and a fun atmosphere. The stadium also contributes greatly to this. Hamilton, Ottawa, and Montreal can have 18-23,000 and it makes for a good atmosphere because that is the size of their stadiums. 18,000 in McMahon is brutal.....
