Cool. Growing up I always saw the little door off 14th St and thought it was a Cold War era fallout shelter or command post.

There a bunch of similar on Signal Hill, and it feels particularly military because of the history around there

I've been searching online and I can't find anything. Does anyone know from the water main map where the water feeds into Airdrie and also in Airdrie it says they have 3 reservoirs does anyone know where those are?

Two lines parallel 15st NE, and one parallels the railroad tracks.
https://dmap.calgary.ca/
Click the layers panel and turn water on. You have to zoom in to see them, and you can follow them up to their ends, which are the pump houses and presumed reservoirs.

Afternoon update underway, repairs are now complete on the line and backfilling is underway. Still not saying restrictions will be gone before that July 5th date.

Got our Enmax bill the other day and wanted to check water usage, we’re basically flat at 12m^3 per month, except July last year where it was closer to 20m^3 for that month. That’s for a family of 4 that includes one child that takes abnormally long showers.

I'd say that's pretty positive. If I were the city, I wouldn't be making any completion promises yet either, but it sounds like they are cautiously optimistic that it'll be before July 5th.

If that child is a male teen, its not abnormal...

Keep in mind (I'm pretty sure this is the case), that often times your bill is an estimate.
They'll keep the number the same until they do an actual meter reading then update the usage in the next bill.
So chances are last year you were being billed for 11 m3/month, and when they did a reading in July they saw you were actually using 12, so that July bill includes the extra 1m3/month for however months, and they tack it on to July, so July looks abnormally high.

So let's start guessing the date that restrictions are fully lifted. Winner gets a Harlem-style impromptu fire hydrant spray fest on their street.
June 30th.

We use a surprisingly large amount of water based on my billing. I don't see any leaks (toilets, sinks, outside spigets, etc) but I feel that we do drink a lot of water and use a lot of ice. We average 20 cubes as a family of four. July, September, November 2023 and March 2024 were all over 24 cubes. My bills say they are actual readings every month.

I have checked the meter in the house and it isn’t spinning or anything when we know water isn’t being used. It’s hard to imagine the amount of water it ends up averaging per day. Like 400 litres per day sounds super high. It’s hard to visualize.

It's not that much when you consider toilets and showers. You know the 1000l water totes? Picture that less than half full. It's not a huge amount.
