And now 4 days off at home since that road trip through California and all that travel must have been exhausted. Anyone who says there is no favoritism when the NHL schedule is created is completely lying........ brutal.

Yeah, the back half of their schedule is going to start and compress and get tougher. I think I count 7 instances where they play 3 games in 5 days. 8 back to backs remaining. January is still really tame playing only on Saturday, Tuesday and Thursday. So after the all-star break is when things will get interesting.

It's hilarious that they're just repeating the same thing as previous years by playing the Wonder Twins 25+ minutes a night. They still haven't figured out that by the time the playoffs start, those two are pretty burned out. Along with their terrible depth and goaltending, it's probably the main reason why the Oilers always bow out after a round or two.
Not to mention the hockey just gets so much tougher in the post season. No playing tired teams on back-to-backs, no extended breaks between games, no backup or 3rd string goaltenders, no 3 on 3/shootouts, less penalties called.
They're still just a 2 man team that relies too much on the McPP. Depth, goaltending, and playing a strong team game are what wins championships. And until that garbage organization figures that out, they won't win squat.

Great to hear you guys get Kylington back, hopefully soon. It’s not the same exactly, but I remember hoping against hope that Klefbom would be able to return. Unfortunately not… But I’m happy to hear the Kylington story, it’s a good one, especially if he makes it back to full strength.
