Medvedev advances to the Sunday final with a 7-5 7-6 win over Frances Tiafoe. I thought Daniil was there for the taking today, but he certainly showed how clutch he has been of late on the big points.

Yeah, the US still hasn't relaxed their vaccine requirement for foreigners wanting to come into the States. There's a chance he will be able to play in Cincinnati and the US Open later this year, though.

That was a missed opportunity for Sinner, Jannik had a set point in the opening set and was the better player, but after dropping the first set in a tie-break, it was pretty much smooth sailing for Charlie in set 2.

Carlitos wins Indian Wells and is back to number 1 in the world. That was a pretty lacklustre effort from Medvedev, but it was a heck of a run winning three tourneys in a row.

I mean, there's no way Medvedev can beat Carlitos playing from 10 feet behind the baseline, the drop shots Alcaraz possesses are one thing, but the way he uses his kick serve to take Daniil way off court gives him plenty of time to get to net for putaway volleys. Lastly, Alcaraz is a great returner, Meddy got very few free points today.
