They could give $1M to Canmore Pride and there would still be a zero percent chance I would ever set foot in Valbella again.

Yep, you're a business, you need to either be sincere in changing and conveying that change to the public or you take the hit that you as a business brought upon yourself and hope that people just forget and/or like your product enough to come back.

Watched a cyclist get hit by a car after running a red light today. Didn’t appear to be hurt bad but I didn’t have time to stop and see (about 12 other people were there). Not sure how she could have thought she could go considering about 5 people crossed in front of her right before she got hit. People not paying attention rgmg.

Not sure how I miss a cell call when it’s sitting right next to me the whole time and all notifications and volume is on. Like POOF!! You missed a call! Huh!?

I had a cyclist cross the wrong way through a bunch of pedestrians. I had to stop very quickly.
Luckily she was extremely attractive, wearing a tight low cut top and smiled at me. So it was all good.

Why don't people take care of their lawns? JFC stop being lazy and put some effort in. It kills me to drive around my neighborhood and see lawns/yards looking like garbage. Have some pride.
Also, take your ####ing xmas lights down ffs.

Traffic circles . People don't have a clue. I was following this dumb cookie and she couldn't stay in her lane at all swerving and square cornering the whole thing .....and right in front of a cop who did F A.
I glared at him shaking my head in disgust and even raised my hands in a WTF gesture .....nothing.
I looked in my side mirror and chicky poo was just laughing.
Air head.

Yeah, I would rather see someone doing the right thing out of laziness than seeing someone who has wasted water and energy over their dumb little vanity project.

In general I agree but you can wood chip and plant some bushes and pull weeds or plant clover to have a reasonable looking street scape without much work.

I dunno about that, removing a lawn is a huge amount of work. But perhaps new neighbourhoods(and infills) should at least strongly discourage lawns for alternatives.
I've been gradually converting my lawn areas over the years, and try to do the bare minimum of mowing to keep it not looking dumpy.

As Fuzz said, removing a lawn is a pain. And unless you’re doing a straight clover replacement (which looks good even unmowed and the flowers are adored by pollinators, I should add), fixing the landscape can be expensive. So, I can at least forgive the lazy people or those without any budget for getting close to doing the right thing the wrong way.

Clover is a short lived perennial, so there is a bit more maintenance involved with it.

We started clovering our front lawn a few years ago after a never ending battle with burnt grass and weeds. Once it's established it doesn't take much work at all, we just mow it every few weeks and never water unless it's been really dry and hot for an extended period. We do seed some spots in the spring if they look patchy. It's been a vast improvement over the grass lawn.

There's a beautiful overlap between people who don't take care of their lawns and people who don't shovel their sidewalks.
Well, at least that's what I tell myself about my neighbors.

Not sure how that's much different than tending to grass esp if KBG is avoided.

I have a pretty nice lawn and I really don't spend a lot of water, energy, and time on it. Water once a week and cut the grass once a week. Fertilize in the spring and fall. Nothing dumb about maintaining your property as I'm not one of those people that likes to invest large sums of money into things and then run them into the ground and devalue them.
