I'd guess it's more that Vegas doesn't want to move him within the Division. Also, they don't want to retain salary on him and the Oilers don't have $7 million in space and I doubt the Flames want to commit that much to him.

Who does Colorado move then? Grubauer or Francouz
If we go sign Markstrom only for Grubauer to then be available in a trade I'll be kind of annoyed.

If they miss out on Markstrom, I hope they go after Kuemper via trade. I would prefer him to Markstrom anyway.
