Gotta feel for Lundqvist. Was hard seeing him right after the goal, but that photo of him sitting in the stall is rough!

Why does CP folk always take issue with a personal opinion?
I wished he would have handed it to Reggie first, rather than lifting the cup. Brown already earned one. They did it for Borque in Colorado as he'd been chasing a cup for his entire career. Reggie was one goal away 10 years ago, and has finally landed his first.
It's a classy move. Take what you will from that.

I dont't think that's true, no matter what Darryl says. Sure if you have a team of the Kings calibre, that's applicable, but when is the last time a cinderella team has actually won the Cup? And no, the Kings 2 years ago doesn't count.

I'm a bitter, petty man. I'm so happy that, nearly ten years to the day, Darryl and Reggie (even though he didn't do anything) inflicted the pain of losing in the Finals on St. Louis and Richards.
Feel bad for Ludqvist though...

One thing I really loved about the media making fun of the hiring of Darryl in LA was the way Kings fans latched onto what Flames fans were saying at the time.
Basiclly everyone was making fun of them and saying it was a crappy hire, fans and media, because they couldn't make the distinction between Darryl the coach and Darryl the GM, and Darryl the GM was fresh in everyone's minds.
But Flames fans were really reassuring to Kings fans, basically saying "Darry's been in Calgary for years, don't listen to the media, you're getting a great coach", and Kings fans kind fo clung onto that saying "Well, Flames fans keep saying it was a great hire, and they know him better than anyone".
A few years and two cups later, Flames fans were right.

I think if Regehr had played and actually been a piece of the puzzle, it may have been different.

A lot of the media think Flames fans are bitter to see Darryl have success.
