Ryan seems to do well in the middle of the field and garbage time, but not in the clutch.

As well as the coin flip hail mary type play out of necessity, but 4 shots from 15 yards out, nothing. Good win by the Pats.

Yeah, that'll be pretty awesome for the two quarters they last.

Pats 4-0...Ill take that any day with an all-rookie receiving corp. BB just changes the game plan and runs it down their throats...opening up the passing game.

Reported Achilles tear for Wilfork. That will be a big loss to lose a space eater like him on their defence.Atlanta can't really run the ball. Other teams can, so they will need to get creative with their scheme.

they adapt so well to their strengths and the Pats dont beat themselves too often, Perhaps Kubiak in Houston should learn from this and play to your strengths. i.e running the ball with 3 minutes left instead of letting your inconsistent QB throw a weak pass...

Planning the parade on the shores of Lake Erie!
Browns have their quarterback and the defense could lead to a division title: National Perspective
http://www.cleveland.com/browns/inde..._new_quar.html
What a difference two games can make. Heading into last Sunday against the Vikings, the Browns were 0-2, they were the punch line of jokes and the NFL draft talk was already starting. Now here they are, riding a winning streak. After a 17-6 over the Cincinnati Bengals, the Browns are tied for first place in the AFC North at 2-2. Efficient play at quarterback from Brian Hoyer (25-of-38 for 269 yards and two touchdowns) and a stifling defense have made the difference. With a win Thursday night against the Buffalo Bills, the Browns have a chance to get above .500. After an 0-2 start, that's not something that looked very likely.

Yeah, but how far back was Bellichick being ripped on for going for it on 4th and 2 against the Colts with a 4 point lead rather than punting the ball away and coming up a yard short? Granted he has Brady playing QB for him rather than Schaub, and Russel Wilson is not Peyton Manning.
Still coaches get ripped for being too conservative, and being too aggressive. Even last night Mike Smith goes for it early in the game rather than put 3 points on the board. Last year Seattle paniced in the first half of their playoff game against Atlanta and kept 6 points off the scoreboard they could have used at the end of the game. There isn't a coach out there who hasn't made a goofy decision that cost his team.

AFC is 15-6 against the NFC, and the AFC West is 7-1 (mostly because the NFC East is terrible).
Guess the power may not have switched as most expected.

The loss of BIG Vince could spell BIG troubles for New England, although Brady and Co still have zero trouble finding ways to win.

Tough to say if it's just the way the early season schedule has worked out, or if the AFC has more good teams than the NFC does. As I posted earlier, the AFC does seem like it could have a few more teams compete for playoff spots than what was previously thought at the start of the season. Certainly having teams like Kansas City and San Diego beat up on the NFC East and Indy going into San Fran and winning has been suprising. Even the AFC East has been beating up the AFC South thus far.
Will be interesting to see if this trend holds up thru the year. The NFC North is probably the most balanced Division so I would think they'll make some ground up on the AFC North. But the AFC West looks like it will probably dominate the NFC East, and the AFC East might fair pretty well against the NFC South.

Sunday Night Football Doubleheader! Well not really, but the Chargers-Raiders game this Sunday has been moved to 11:35 PM EST (on NFL Network) because the A's have a playoff game the previous night. Seriously this is twice now baseball has dropped the hammer on the NFL, despite the NFL being at least twice (likely 3 times) as popular as the MLB. Why does the NFL let this happen? Make baseball re-arrange their crap.
