He talks about fire and flames a lot which makes him fairly easy for me to relate to

He is countering the offer with a rendition of "Take Me Out To the Ball Game", but Burke being a traditionalist feels that this is not an appropriate hockey song. And yes, for the few who can't discern a joke beyond Knock Knock, this is really just a joke.

Downbound Train. Love that song.
As long as he doesn't sign with the Oilers.
It's a town full of losers...

Would you rather have Iggy join the flames this year or join the Oilers?
I'd much rather have Iggy back for the flames then see him dress for the Oilers GAG

I heard the same rumor from a legit source. Apparently that's what's holding the contract negotiation in limbo.

I hope they settle that soon, I think a fair compromise of hot crossed buns on the recorder is fair and even. Think of the publicity though, they can pick a kid from a grade 4 class for every home game to play it with him.
I've also heard (from an Orange Julius employee, so you know it's legit) that they have an offer on the table for Jagr too but he insists on playing pomiluj ny on the violin.

Well with everyone signed and delivered if there was ever any truth Jarome to Calgary from the July rumours. Or the Jagr to Calgary August ones. Then now would be the time !

I'm still holding out hope for Iggy. Think he would fit well on bennett's line.

I'd rather have Iggy over Jagr for his toughness.

I'd rather have Iggy too. The thought of Jagr in a Flames jersey doesn't intrigue me like it does others.

I'm not sure I buy these rumours at all.

Simply adding the Chaisson information for credibility as it hasn't been reported by any of the media (also dont know if its a one way two way or PTO)
