Haha, bookies are taking bets on Trump’s weight when he’s booked. The over/under is 278.5. I’m taking the over. My guess is 289.

Not even one leak on Guliani's face! Good show, old man!

And Trump has gotta be 308, at least.

Mar-a-Lago IT worker told he won't face charges in special counsel probe

Quote:
Washington — The Mar-a-Lago IT employee who, according to a federal court filing, implicated former President Donald Trump and two of his aides in an alleged pressure campaign to delete security camera footage at the Florida resort was advised by special counsel Jack Smith's team that he would not face perjury charges after he amended his testimony, a source familiar with the investigation told CBS News.

Yuscil Taveras was assured by federal prosecutors in recent weeks that he was no longer the target of a criminal probe into whether he had lied in his grand jury testimony and would not be charged for allegedly lying to investigators by telling them that he had no knowledge of efforts to delete the footage that was of interest to Smith's team, the source said.
Quote:
Taveras, identified in court filings as "Trump Employee 4," first denied having any conversations with Trump, Nauta or Mar-a-Lago maintenance worker Carlos De Oliveira about the footage in March, Smith's team alleged in a court filing Tuesday. But after receiving a target letter and switching lawyers, the documents said, Taveras "retracted his prior false testimony and provided information that implicated Nauta, De Oliveira and Trump in efforts to delete security camera footage, as set forth in the superseding indictment."
Quote:
Prosecutors said in a federal court filing Tuesday that Taveras is now likely to be called as a government witness at trial, which is currently set for May 2024.

Taveras, Smith's team wrote, "will very likely face cross-examination about his prior inconsistent statements in his grand jury testimony … which he disavowed immediately after obtaining new counsel."

It truly blows my mind still that the two top candidates to be President of the US is an addled old man with maybe half his faculties left and one of the biggest crooks in US history who wants to destroy Democracy. It is absolutely mindboggling.

If Biden were to be primaried, would we already know by know?

It just seems like he is going to have trouble getting people excited to vote. If Trump is the GOP candidate, it might motivate the never-trump crowd, but if a different candidate gets appointed to run, it could just make vote apethetic to vote for anyone.

Judging by what my American friends and family are telling me, the majority of left-leaning folks will still hold their nose and vote Biden if only to save their country. At worst it’s only another boring 4 years with Biden at the helm. If Trump wins, it very likely spells the end of American democracy.

Folks are undervaluing Biden. Yes he’s boring and a poor speaker but he’s getting things done. He genuinely cares about proper. The economy is strong and the U.S. is heading in the right direction. Best thing about Biden is he’s not Trump. I still can’t believe they elected a failed reality-TV star. Elect Trump and it could be the last time they can ever vote for president again.

"Primaried" doesn't really apply to large turnout presidential primaries. It's the act of organizing to oust candidates who hold lower level offices like members of congress.

I think it's pretty likely Biden would willingly resign if DNC strategists thought there was a better option. If they game out, I just don't think they see a more reliable option to face Trump. I think the math all changes though if its not Trump and there is still time to make a move.

Open boarder, crime off the charts disgusting, energy not secure, debt off the charts, banks collapsing, criminal investigations. Can’t stay awake.
On and on and on.
