Firefox Home hits the App Store!
Quote:

Features
When connected to your Firefox Sync account, Firefox Home will give you access to:
* Awesome Bar Search of your open tabs, bookmarks and browsing history. Need those directions to that restaurant you were just reading about on your desktop? The confirmation code for your flight? Just start typing in the search bar and those pages will be right at your fingertips.
* Direct access to the tabs open on your desktop copy of Firefox. You can pick up where you left off with access to the tabs open on your desktop.
* Direct access to the bookmarks on your desktop copy of Firefox. Does it drive you crazy to have to enter the full URL for a website you know you have bookmarked your desktop? Now you don’t have to. All your bookmarks are right here.
* End to end security. All your data is encrypted and your Secret Phrase ensures that only you have access to it.

There's another Angry Birds update now. It's downloading as I type; apparently they have updated some levels, added a new set of 15, and we have a new bird.
Edit- the new bird is a big fat red one; and he just plows through stuff.

There are also 2 new screens of levels with "Coming Soon" over them!
I love this app, it just keeps on giving.

Anyone here use Last Pass?
I just started trying it out on Chrome for a couple sites. Seems like a good idea and I like the idea of it generating a different password for each site. But how do I use it on the iPhone and iPad for passwords that aren't in a browser? iTunes for example.

This is interesting:

Personally you'll pry harmony away from my cold, dead hands, but this looks like a nice cheap option if you're squeamish about spending $100 on a remote.
The opportunities for integration with HTPC software sure is interesting though...

Not an app, but a good find for iPods, iPhones and iPads ... you can download the entire Flames schedule in a single click if you hit the link at the bottom of this page:
http://flames.nhl.com/club/page.htm?id=40262
There was a time when the iDevices couldn't do subscription calendars and you had to enter this in manually or use a Mac to play with it. Major ass pain. Now it's dead easy.

^^ I get:
Download Failed
Safari cannot download this file.
I assume I'm supposed to be clicking on it using my iPhone, right?

This seems like an interesting idea if you live alone or everyone in the house has an iPhone.
"Sorry honey you'll have to use the 5 remotes to get the TV working because I'm not home with my phone."
Harmony FTW.

Ya as much as I enjoy using my iPhone as an Apple TV remote, it's annoying if your phone goes to sleep. You have to wake it, put in a passcode and wait for your wifi to reconnect. Only about a 5 second process but when the phone is ringing you want the show paused right away.
On a side note, does 4.0 give you the option to turn off auto-sleep? I always had it set to never sleep, but I think the firmware I'm on removed that option and I'm hoping newer firmware updates brought it back.

Here's a simple question. Does the Iphone with the 4.01 OS have a feature like FireFox when writing (Add word to dictionary)?

Isn't that just Settings->General->Auto-Lock? If so, that still works on my iPhone 3G with the 4.0 OS.

What if your iphone is ringing, and you need to make it pause/mute? You have to hang up, mute and call back? No one can change the channels while dad is on the phone?
The infra red dongle is really too big and awkward to keep in full time, so where do you store it? How easy would that be to lose?

It used to be, but they removed the auto-lock disabling at some point (3.0 maybe?)
It realllly pissed me off.

I haven't had auto-lock enabled on my phone since the day I got it. No firmware update disabled this.

When did you get it? Did it come with 3.x firmware on it?
Because 2.x definitely had it disabled.

Auto-lock is just a setting in the Settings app. It's always been there.

Turning it off completely (Auto Lock Never) hasn't been around for a while
