We need the 3 points, but it was a dive. Don't like seeing that, even when it works for your club.
The 2nd one was a clear penalty and WBA's fault for not playing to the whistle. Good on Oxe for keeping going.
Overall, Arsenal were the much better side and deserved 3 points but the dive of course alway puts a taint on things.

The 2nd one was a clear penalty after Oxlade-Chamberlain clearly pushed the guy to the ground. I guess play until the whistle but when something that obvoius happens it is easy to see why the reaction would be to stop and wait for the call that is made every other time that play happens. The 2nd goal was the refs fault for his horrible non-call.
Mancini admitting he wanted to sign RVP, basically throwing some blame on the owners for not getting it done when the main reason he lost was SAF giving him a managing clinic
those derbies never disappoint ... City would have deserved to take at least a point, but since Atkinson and his assistants stole a good goal from Young that would have made it 3-0, I think it's a good result. Horrible defending by Tevez and Nasri when RvP scored ... Tevez was standing in the exact spot where the ball went, but walked away a few seconds before it happened. And Nasri seemed to hide behind Dzeko (?), only to raise his foot and deflect the ball ... "suspect" defending, to say the least.
Certainly looking good now in the standings for United, 6 points ahead of City despite not playing that well ... I wonder how long before Mancini has to walk. Yes, they're still 2nd and it's only their first loss this season, but crashing out in the CL in spectacular style and losing to the rivals in the league would certainly be enough for a team like Chelsea to kick out the manager.
Despicable scenes by some "fans" at the end. Ferdinand got hit by a coin and a City fan made his way onto the field, only to be confronted by Hart and Ferdinand
Rio Ferdinand @rioferdy5 what a result,3points! Sweet! Whoever threw that coin, what a shot! Can't believe it was a copper 2p....could have at least been a £1 coin!
You can take the team out of Moss Side but you can't .......
Game should never have been that close. Good goal disallowed for 3-0 and a blatant penalty turned down.
Chelsea away and now city away. Two huge wins with the bonus that the clubs are left with fallout for weeks after the game.
Martin Atkinson shows a blatant lack of gonads once again when it comes to sending players off. Guaranteed if there wasn't crowd trouble at the time Tevez would have been gone for that intentional blatant kick.
Mancini screwed up royally and gave United an early present by starting Balotelli. Fergie got it spot on.
And Nasri ..... thank you for being a little coward.
Considering that they were winless and had 3 points from their first seven games, that Naaarich are now 7th with 25 points is pretty impressive. To be honest I'd them figured as a sure thing for relegation pre-season and a dead cert after the first 7 games.
