I don’t remember him saying it but I remember all the TV commentators saying it wrong.
I have heard Chiasson introduce himself in person
It is a French name and is pronounced along the lines of
Sh-yeah-so (n) - with that implied n at the end
Not the very inelegant
Chay-sawn

I would love listening to Sarich in the morning. Great insights and would balance some of the goofiness and arrogance. Best choice for me

Isn't that really difficult for a commentator to ask and learn how to pronounce someone's name properly? Isn't that part of the job?

I'm fine with the personalities but them selling the prime 7:50-8:15 time slot to do a promo segment for an advertiser for what seems like every day is giving me no reason to listen to them.
I get you have to do ad work to pay the bills, but that's most of the peak commute drive time. I'm not listening for a 25 minute location segment at XYZ Pub and Grill where you extoll the virtues of their chicken wings.

Yeah I hate when that happens..Klein got hooked up with a sweet suit for his wedding, we get it..let's talk about it all week at the exact same time when I'm driving to work..
Listened to the dude talk about his store today for a couple mins, as frankly he had quite a soothing voice for a sleepy drive, but then I just turned it off and listened to the rain instead

Isn't Pinder got the Audi for free (at least no lease payments), that's why he keeps pimping Glenmore Audi all the time?

I’m still upset we never got to hear the guys try out cougar life on air. Now that’s a sponsored segment I’d listen to.

I don’t like it. I know some think it paints a picture for them, but I don’t picture hockey that way. I think in my head its more of an angled overhead view, something like a video game.

Isn't there still a right to left in that view?
That one isn't so much a Wills thing as much as a radio PBP thing. Maher did it too.

Never heardMaher do it. My preferred NHL video game view is above and behind my team. I like to see the play develop going forward.

Still don’t like it. But I admit, it’s just me. I know that terrible Stamps guy does it, and he also described the uniforms “Stamps in their wedding gown white jerseys”.
