I re-watched 28 days and 28 weeks this weekend (still havent seen 28 years) and the crux of 28 weeks later is kids doing stupid stuff

Theres been some decent kid actors lately, and thats fine, and frankly, its not even that the kid did a terrible job but...the story-arc was just stupid.

Your mom is dying, your dad is taking care of her but also finding comfort elsewhere. Fine. "But me mam tho!!" So stupid.

Then they set up the supplies for the community and how they're scarce. Of course they are, its a Zombie Apocalypse.

If supplies are scarce, she is bed-ridden and useless you dont use those supplies on her, you put an arrow through her and move along.

Then they set up that there is 'a real Doctor' on the heavily infested mainland and Dad is a dick because he wont take 'me mam' to see 'da real doctah!!' Whom, by all accounts, is a psychotic loner lunatic. So kiddo lights the community's supplies on fire as a diversion and escapes with her to go find the real Doctor? He's been on the mainland exactly once. 1 time. And he failed pretty hard. Now he has to drag some lunatic woman around to find the crazy Doctor based on almost absolutely no real information.

And the whole thing turns to ####. Surprise, surprise. I was really let down by this one.

I saw Jurassic World - Rebirth and while it was lacking I didn't think it was the worst of the Jurassic series.
