Yeah, it's not like they are even saving money or anything by doing it. Not that saving money would be a good excuse either, but they would at least have a really weak excuse. They are just making it more difficult to access. Having the option to "press 3" to be re-directed automatically instead of having to hang up and call a different number literally hurts no one and removing the feature goes out of the way to hurt people.
Just dumb and mean for the sake of being mean.
