Hoffpauir has not contributed anything positive to this team. Time to give Emaus a whirl.

I don't care how bad they suck I would watch every minute of it.

Jays lose again, now have lost 8 of their last ten.
Too bad, the season started out so well. The WC was always a bit of a dream, but it would have been nice to see them hang in there for a while longer.

Don't they have one of the worst hitting percentages in the league?
No HRs = no wins.

Yeah swept by Cleveland
This is the series that officially broke them.
But again, the goal this year was to develop so in the end it'll be successful.

Damnit! Marcum is on the DL with Elbow inflammation. When it rains it pours.

Tallet is awful, and Romero hasn't been as strong this season.
Johnny Mac needs to be off the roster.

And today marks the day when I stop watching the Jays for the remainder of the season.
I'm so sick and tired of being lured in by great May and June's, only to see them come crashing back down to the earth in the summer months.
Yeah I'm a fair-weather fan. Oh well.

Expectations were to high.
If you only expect 70 wins, and they have 41 halfway through the year, then you're not disappointed.
The Jays are likely going to trade Gonzalez, Bautista, Downs, Frasor, Gregg and whomever else isn't stapled down in the coming weeks, which will help the jays rebuild faster.

Man, I hate the Yanks. If there's one team I wish the Jays would sweep (or at least beat in a series) it's the Yanks. Argh.

Drabek, the pitcher the Jays got for halladay faced only 28 batters throwing a no-no in the minors.

Catching fly balls might help. I mean, is the sun brighter and more intense in the Bronx than anywhere else in the Major Leagues? Dropping the A-Rod one on Saturday probably didn't make a difference one way or the other since the Bombers had already scored 8 in that inning. But the drop of the Gardner fly yesterday was a game breaker.

Absolutely, that was painful to watch. Wise had a terrific game otherwise. Too bad that one play hurt so bad. Just kind of how things are going for them right now............not well.
