And it's good.
Too bad the NFL's stupid rules don't allow CBS from playing the remainder of the game.

i dont understand that. the end of a game is way more important then the beggining. that rule makes the nfl look bad, but every league does have its faults

That pretty much sums up the season doesn't it.

In addition to a few other records set today by Brady and Moss, the one I caught was 36 TDs in the first 10 games by Brady which is a new NFL record.
This guy is unreal.

Well what are the chances of the Patriots getting to 70 tonight?
Oh man, all week all I hear is 16.5 points on the road in Buffalo is too many. Looks like the bookies should have made it 46.5....The Pats woud still cover.

Ha, well 70 would have been possible I think, except it looks like they're gonna sit him for the rest of the game.

The defence can still create 14 points on Buffalo turn overs...

Well overall another odd week of sorts.
The Saints after looking like they'd go from 0-4 to making the playoffs lose two games they shouldnt' have. 4-6...I don't see playoffs for them.
The Steelers lose to the Jets...Yeah the 1-8 Jets who've only beaten Miami so far, yeah they beat the Steelers today. If they can't beat teams like Arizona on the road and the Jets...are they really going to win in Foxboro?
The Chargers well they beat the Colts last week...but they still can't seem to get it going and lose in Jacksonville, although thats not exactly a shocker. Although they're still in the drivers seat to win their division. An 8-8 record might do it.
The Browns at 6-4....They're challenging to be a playoff team. The have Houston, @ AZ, @ NYJ, Buf, @ Cin & San Fran left. They can run the table or go 4-1 to finish 10-6. Although even if they finish 11-5 that might only draw them even with teams like Jacksonville and Tennessee, still good season for the Browns.
We get the Pats and Eagles next week for the Sunday prime time game...Well the Eagles might be able to make it like a 49-10 game....Why the Eagles haven't figured out that they should run first and pass second yet is beyond me. At least the game will be done in the second quarter again...why bother showing the Pats on National T.V. anymore.
Dallas and Green Bay are the class of the NFC. Should be a gooder the Thursday after this one when they hook up. Both teams will have a full week off for a Thursday game which will give us a good fair game.
Looks like N/E, Pit, SD, and Indy should all win their divisions....although 3 of those are hardly set in stone. Tennessee and Jacksonville look like they should get the WC spots and the Browns will mount the best challenge.
Dal, GB, TB and Sea should win their divisions in the NFC. The Seahawks might get a bit of a challenge from the Cards...but I think they won't be worse than 9-7 which will beat out the Cards. The Giants will take one WC spot and the other is tough to gauge. Should be the Lions...but they are the Lions...could it be the Cards....they are the Cards...maybe the Eagles figure things out, or the Red Skins, or maybe the Saints wake up again. Who knows?

EDIT: HAHA, HOU just went for it on 4th and 1 on the NO 44 and failed.
This game is pretty hilarious.

Maybe hilarious only for the impartial fan...
Jason David gives up his usual 60-80 yard TD per game, to Andre Johnson(which I actually called two days before the game), the front seven applies minimal pressure, and Reggie has no room to run. I love what Reggie brings to the team, but this team is missing Deuce badly. We have no consistent running game, none. For Brees to have thrown 49 passes in a semi-close game is ridiculous IMO. I think Payton really underestimates what Deuce brings to this team.

I wouldn't hand the division to the Chargers just yet.
I think the Broncos and Chiefs both could make some noise (in the division) down the stretch.
Denver has Ten, @ Chi, @ OAK, KC, @ Hou, @ SD and MIN
KC has OAK, SD, @ DEN, TEN, @ DET, @ NYJ
SD has BAL, @ KC, @ TEN, DET, DEN, @OAK
Those 3 division games between the 3 teams will be huge. If Denver can win tomorrow they'll be tied with SD and control their own destiny. Bizzaro but true. I guess we'll see tomorrow night if Denver's defense is one and done.
If KC plays the way they did today for the rest of the year they will be tough. Offense should only get sharper for them.
Bottom line though, whichever team wins that division is going nowhere!

Wow where is all the love for the Cowboys. All these Johnny come lately Patriot/Colt fans who switched from whatever team was hot before that talking it up.
Then you have those fans who have only ever had the love for one team and it's America's team ya know!!!
The "Cowboys" with Romo and Owens just on a super roll sure looked good though plenty of room for improvement still on defense. Cowboys as per usual have to do the Thanksgiving thing and the super quick turnaround will be tough battering them up before the Green Bay game. But as long as they are healthy for that match it should be an excellent contest!!

Well if Denver can beat Tennessee tonight than they are a somewhat legitimate threat to win the AFC West. The big thing they have against them is that home whooping they took from the Chargers. The Chargers IIRC have a game in KC that they should win (although the Chiefs could play them tough), and home games vs. Oakland and Denver. I think the only AFC South team they have left to play is Tennessee and they get Detroit coming into their stadium as well as a game against the Ravens. The Chargers should be able to piece together at least a 4-2 record out of that schedule. So in order for Denver to beat them...they'll need to have a 6-1 record from here in, or 5-2 to draw even and bring it to a tie breaker. Basically Denver has to beat Tennessee tonight if they want a shot at the division.

You do realize Green Bay is playing in Detroit on Thursday as well....Both teams will have a weeks rest before they hook up the following Thursday, than they'll both get like 11 day breaks.

No I didn't know. I could care less who Green Bay is playing to tell the truth. I only follow the Cowboys and in all other games I watch I hope for the underdog!!!

Guilty!
I got Buffalo +17.5 at kickoff and thought it was pretty decent since the Bills were at home and they had won 4 in a row.
I knew after about 5 minutes....

The NFC West is going to come down to the Cards/Hawks game in Seattle. Both teams have easy schedules and should finish with around the same record. Since Arizona beat Seattle already if they win in Seattle they have the tiebreaker and should win the division. If Seattle wins they should be too far ahead for the Cards to pass them.
