The fact you want to try and compare Kadris previous suspensions with the collision with the blues goalie shows me your ability to be objective and honest, but i'm not suprised you aren't. Half my family is in Edmonton, they'll support Aaron Hernandez as long as he helps you win.

I think I'm already on record saying I don't care about anything off-ice in the Kane acquisition thread. I just care about on-ice performance. I'm not going to defend anything an Oiler does on the ice either. I'm perfectly fine with the fact that guys like Kane and Nurse cross the line. NHL GMs obviously feel the same way based on the haul Tkachuk got in trade, and the contract Kadri just received.

And I would say Kadri's collision with the goalie is certainly part of evidence that he still plays an on the edge/reckless style. Just like his 8 game suspension for a head shot in the previous playoffs.

I didn't even say that it was bad. I was raised on Don Chery Rock em Rock videos in my Xmas stockings. I don't mind those players that play on the edge. Are they all D-bags? Probably, but I don't watch the NHL for role models.

So, if someone says Kadri is mellowing with age, perhaps that is less intellectually honest than my take on him.
