Argos are melting down in this 4th quarter as Ottawa is poised to record their first win of the season.

The East is so bad. None of those teams deserve a playoff spot.

The CFL, from a competitiveness standpoint, really is a joke. There is one good team, a couple ok teams, and a whole huge pile of crap.

Whether it be cumulation of injuries and/or age, Bo has morphed into Matt Nichols. No longer elite and just an average starting QB that can't make deep throws. Collaros has been surprisingly good in Winnipeg but he's 33 years old now and probably only has a couple more really good years left. Rourke looks really promising but it's too early to anoint him as the next great QB. After that it's pretty bleak across the league as it's been a while since the QB talent around the league has been this bad.

Bo is certainly not the same QB that he used to be, but the team still managed to put up 28 points against a pretty stingy Bombers defense. It's a team game, but the defense wasn't able to stop the Bombers when it had multiple opportunities to do so. There were several 2nd and long situations that Winnipeg was able to convert and that along with Winnipeg opening holes for Oliveira to run through were the reasons the Bombers were victorious. Also, if the Stamps could have turned those FGs into TDs in the opening quarter, it could have made a big difference in the final outcome.

That was the big diff, our red zone play is atrocious! If we capitalized on half of those plays in both games we would have beat them twice. Whether it is Dave's play calling or Bo audibling out of those plays, something needs to change.

Bo averaged only 200 yards passing with 1 TD pass in two games. That kind of production from your QB will get you beat nearly every game in the CFL against any opponent. The reason they moved the ball effectively was because of the running game that was stellar in both games. The best thing you can say about Bo's play over the two games was that he only had the one turnover. Also to be fair the WR's have not always been consistent as Jorden sunk them in the 1st matchup and in the 2nd game Begelton only caught 5/10 passes thrown his way which also isn't good enough.

Yeah this team has a real difficult time getting into the end zone via the passing game but this has been a problem for years. Common denominator is the guy calling the plays. Dave is a good coach so it's kind of disappointing that he can't get this figured out.

Yeah but neither do the Elks or Rough Riders. The East is bad but the Argos are probably the 4th best team in the league.
Even the Lions are a bit of a fraud as they're beating up on bad teams. Winnipeg and Calgary to me are miles ahead of them, and they're on an Island as the third best team.

Stamps could be 4-3 with a loss in Ottawa this week which would tie the Riders. Stamps don't always play their best out east and the way the defense looked against the Bombers there's a lot of pressure for the offense to produce a lot of points because I imagine Ottawa will get their points if the Stamps can't get to the QB and the secondary can't cover anyone.

Speaking of Dave, he remains in COVID protocol and Mark Kilam is running practice for the 2nd straight day.

In other Stamps news, Raheem Wilson has been released. He didn't have a good game against the Bombers on Saturday, but this is surprising considering the health of Tre Roberson.
