Umm....am I reading the schedule right and Russia and NA are playing to back-to-backs Today and Monday? For why?

Seems a bit rough right off the bat.

I'm not sure why they did the schedule the way they did. The first day was two Group A games, and the second day is two Group B games, but after this, there's one game from each group per day.

If they would have just alternated the groups each day, no team would have had any back-to-backs, and no team would have had more than one day off at a time.

As it is, Canada now has a two day break, but then plays back-to-back on Tuesday and Wednesday. North America plays all three of its games in a four day span.

My guess was ESPN didnt want Canada v USA up against Monday Night Football


But yes the scheduling should have been every second day.
