Even if they lose Lewandowski, dont forget that they still have Marco Reus and Julian Schieber (German Youth International).

Schieber is a good talent that is only being left out of the first team because of the brilliance of Lewandowski, if he leaves Schieber will likely just step right in, and, knowing Dortmund they've probably got 1 or 2 other guys waiting in the wings.

Its like when Kagawa left. Dortmund sold him, shrugged their shoulders and instantly replaced him with Gundogan (German International) and have Bender (German International) and Leitner (German Youth International) waiting in the wings.

Just for perspective, most of Dortmund's 'B' Squad basically had their way with one of the most expensive teams in the world.

They'll be fine. Now Liverpool just have to score Jurgen Klopp.

they already had Gündogan before Kagawa left - Gündogan was Sahin's replacement. They bought Reus as replacement for Kagawa. Agree with what you're saying though.

QPR have canceled Christmas.

Players at bottom-of-the-Premier-League QPR have decided to cancel their Christmas party as they do not want to give the wrong impression to the club's fans, according to the Daily Telegraph.

Chelsea's John Mikel Obi has been given a three-match ban and fined £60,000 by the Football Association for threatening referee Mark Clattenburg.
Nigerian midfielder Mikel admitted an FA charge following an incident in the match official's changing room at the end of Chelsea's game against Manchester United on 28 October.
In a personal hearing on Thursday the FA's Independent Regulatory Commission accepted that the player had genuinely believed the referee had racially abused him.

And Fergie, in trademark style, has pointed out that the reigning champions have had a staggering 21 spot-kicks awarded at home since the start of the 2010-11 season.
The United boss said: “If we got that number of penalty kicks there’d be an inquiry in the House of Commons. There’d be a protest.”

Funny feeling Jones will be in midfield on Sunday. Draw would be a great result, win would be huge.

^ The best part is, the article says that United have actually been awarded MORE penalties, they've just scored on fewer.

Edit: After re-reading, United has more "this season" and City has more in the last 2.5 seasons combined. But still...

Good teams win more penalties for obvious reasons. He is just pointing out the fact that if it were United, the conspiracy theories would be flying!

nah...he is just messing with heads.

Owen rips into Liverpool. Absolutely unbelievable that one of the top clubs in the country (at that time) couldn't organise and manage the rehab of one of the biggest talents of his generation and one of the top players in the world at that time.

Quote:
When the time came to make my debut for Liverpool. I was mentally ready. I knew I had what it took to make it to the top and it was just a case of when Roy Evans saw fit to release the hand brake. I hit the ground running and won the Premier League Golden Boot in my first two seasons of first team football. Then, on a cold night in March ‘99 at Elland Road my body made me pay for pushing it to the limit too often. My hamstring snapped in two and it was at that point that my ability to perform unimpeded was finished. It didn't have to be that way. My rehabilitation was compromised due to our physio leaving the Club that summer and not being replaced until the following season and with no regular medical care during such a critical time, a routine injury was destined to restrict me for the rest of my career.

It is due to this factor (confirmed by many medical experts), that I have suffered multiple injuries since. People laugh when I say that I am not naturally injury prone. It is my genuine opinion that I have become injury prone due to overplaying at a young age, suffering an injury as a result and then having a dreadful rehabilitation at such a critical time.

Shame, because the one thing that Owen had .... and lost was his explosive pace.

Owen's attitude hasn't exactly covered himself in glory the last few years but that must have been tough to go through

he was paying for one of the 5 biggest clubs in the world, scoring goals for fun, after 98 was well on his way to leading the line for England for the next decade, and then an injury ends it

I thought he was still pretty explosive in 2002. That was probably the last great England team.

Who would have thought that Fergie's whining about penalties would result in two garbage penalties for Arsenal?

was the cazorla dive that bad?

haven't seen it yet but Clarke ripped the ref and even Wenger changed up his usual "I didn't see it" to "I will talk to him if I think it was a dive"

Ignoring the dive, what a pitiful challenge inside your own box
