Pepple apparently has interest from multiple Premier League clubs, La Liga, Bundesliga and the Portuguese top flight. There are rumours of Zator moving to the Championship as well, and apparently a top midfielder from another club signing with Cavalry?

Would love to see Zator in either the Championship or League 1. I would be curious to see how he would do. I wonder if there would be any visa issues as he has not played much for the national team.

Will we get enough $ from any of these transactions to buy a new fibula, tibia and ACL?

This is so cool. Even if their time at Cavalry is short, we're seeing Canadians draw interest from elite leagues across the world and building careers that help build Canada's football profile.
Would suck to lose Pepple and Zator, but super excited to see where they end up.

Zator is uncapped, and would get torched in the Championship.

How exactly would you know this Graham Leggett?
I hope you don’t think playing in beer league AMSL makes your some sort of expert?

The Championship is a pretty big step up from CPL though. CPL is closer to National League level right now.
Mavila was playing in National League North before he signed with Cavalry. David Edgar was playing in National League. Petrasso just got loaned to Barnet in the National League.

Name is Cam, but I see the confusion.
Firstly, he’d have been signed by now. He’s not in some black hole, where is still waiting to be found. 25, should be prime time.
I sit 20 yards from Zaror, for 1/2 the season.
Solid aerial game for CPL.
Poor left foot, I should I know I got one too. And off his right, his long ball game is subpar, often missing Pasquotti.
A good sized, above average CPL player, with sub-par field awareness.
Not good enough, for any of the top 3.

Zator came directly from the AMSL/University, FYI. Highest amateur league there is, and although it has been watered down over the last decade with CPL/USL etc., it's still pretty much on par with League One in Ontario.
I don't think Zator is Championship quality either. I'm not sure he'll get "torched" necessarily, but I just don't think he's that level. This comes from personal experience playing with and against him for years. I hope he proves me wrong though, as he's a quality kid.

The truth is that the Championship is really high quality. The CPL is nowhere near that, and I'm not sure that an All-Star squad made from the CPL could even compete there.

Sounds like Pepple won't be returning to Cavalry next year. He's going on trial with another Premier League club after his trial with Sheffield United is complete.

Also it looks like the other club Pepple is trialing with is Leicester City.

Looks like Jordan Brown is indeed leaving for Germany, he posted a thank you Calgary message on his Instagram. Scored the first goal in club history, will forever be part of Cavalry lore

Sucks to see him go, but very happy for him.
This serves as a reminder that our team is, much like most other CPL teams, going to constantly be in flux for talent due to it being a skill development league. It's a stepping stone to grow/rehabilitate careers for the bigger leagues.
Best to just get attached to the team colors, not the players. And to put your faith in Tommy to build the best possible team he can (which we know he can do!)

Brown leaving sucks, but when half the league makes less than $22000, this sort of situation is more of the norm.

Congrats to Forge (gross) on winning their Concacaf league match against Limeno and advancing to the next round. Good for the CPL!

That was actually a good character win for them, although it feels a bit dirty to admit it. They played well, late winner with 10 men, a long way from home.
I wonder if the result would've been different with fans in the stands and the customary Central American shenanigans? Credit where due, but screw them anyway because Forge.
