I've tried Crota HM a few times. But only with some buddies. It doesn't seem overly difficult. We've come close a few times. I'm almost certain I could get into LFG and down him quick, but I'm really in no rush hahah.
Also, I'm only about 25 hadronic essence short of having three lv 32s. Taking my time a little bit there too, since I very rarely run Roc strikes.

If only.
That being said, maybe the average PUG has started nailing Crota more successfully in less tries since I last bothered with it last week.
Finally hit a bit of a wall with the game. After downing Crota HM yesterday for the 3rd time, there is just not much more to do until the next Xpac. Still a couple guns I want (Fang, Gally, Black Hammer) but nothing that is going to drive me everyday.
For the next couple weeks will be happy to run stuff for OSI and with friends and break a little bit until the next Xpac. Have most people on my friends list, but you can add me on PS4 (juraverybadmista) or send me a PM
We have a full fire-team of Fancy Kittens already! We even ran a six-person control team for the hell of it after lol.

I'm lucky because I still have a group of 9-10 friends who play pretty consistently and at the same time as I do, with almost no problems forming a group of 6. That makes a huge difference, because I'm sure I would have hit a wall much much sooner otherwise. Our play time definitely drops off leading up to the reset these days though. Basically we all play at night from Monday to Thursday, and that's mostly it.

I have a checkpoint on one character for Crota HM, and normal, as well as the checkpoint at the deathsinger on another character on HM.
Get a group together and we could probably beat em out.
Woudn't mind doing VoG HM a few times either as well.
Was playing ROC strikes, got a legendary engram that turned into the time and patience sniper. I have never had a purple turn to yellow so I was happy.

Last night's full skirmish match with mccree and badradioX (sorry, don't know who you are on CP )
^ This shows me how badly I play Crucible. I should sit back and snipe people, instead I run in blindly in the hopes that I'm faster than than a speeding bullet (I'm not).

You were on fire last night. Thanks for play with us!!
Always fun to play with others in a group. Definitely should play together some more; maybe I'll have a reason to play more.

The true answer is to use your teammates as bullet sponges as you pick off the enemy.
...Not that I was doing that to you guys or anything...
