I wish only 25% of people were utter morons. Probably 25% of people who achieve a professional role equivalent to a dentist are morons. It's much higher for other professions.

It’s hilarious some one else’s opinion who you don’t even knowmakes you so upset. You’ll be waiting a long time to see a well balanced CTV story on Trump.
But it's also sad that just being contrarian and blindly accepting every conspiracy theory in the bundle has become an analogue for critical thinking, in their minds.

Lol its amazing. Honestly one of my time killers is scrolling twitter and seeing what these nutjobs are talking about. I find their obsession with covid and pedos absolutely fascinating - always good for a laugh.
Imagine believing there's a conspiracy involving hundreds of thousands of people, politicians and doctors. Or believing that someone's a pedophile because they're a liberal lol.
Then you can take a step further and believe that "The Donald" is the chosen one to save you from these things. Its ####ing hilarious.

People by their nature have an insatiable desire to feel that they are competent, smart, and making a contribution to the world.
Many people get this feeling by convincing themselves that there are "radical left wing socialists hell bent on destroying the world", and see themselves as saviors protecting the world from these "evil lefties".
It's all a giant delusion based on a giant lie, but it satisfies their emotional needs nonetheless.
At the same time, these people somehow find Trump to be very relatable on a personal level, so they see any punishment or accountability levied toward him as an attack on them.
So when people are so blinded both by their hatred toward people they see as evil, and at the same time by their infatuation with a psychopathic conman who they see as a savior, the question is how on earth do we get through to these folks? It's a question I've been pondering for years and honestly still have no answer to.
I don’t.
And I have nearly 13 years of posting history that will attest to this.
