About the “what about Hunter” nonsense…I’m on Twitter (I refuse to call it X) a lot and I’ve never read one Democrat supporter giving a pass to Hunter. Everyone says if he’s committed crimes, prosecute him. Asking, if the Republicans have evidence about Hunter and Joe, show it or STFU. If Joe’s committed a crime, indict him but, no evidence, STFU.

The dangerous precedent would be allowing a president/former president to attempt a coup.

We live in interesting times.

I remember when the peaceful transition of power was a point of pride for the United States.

It was the hallmark of their bragging about democracy.

Ahhh the good ole days.

When people say Make America Great Again, they should mean that.

Remember the good old days when the most outrageous thing that ever happened during a transition of power was when the Clinton interns turned the drawers upside down before the Bush folks came in. Oh, the drama that created in Washington.

So much this.

The dangerous precedent was set in 2015 by GOP nominating Trump, and a massively more dangerous precedent is being set by the continued support.

Supporting Trump and Trumpism just proves that the GOP as is is not what anyone should consider a serious political party in a western democracy. This is really fairly obvious looking from the outside.

I’m reading that Kushner may have flipped.

Michael Cohen floated that idea as well. It wouldn't necessarily surprise me.

Meadows has flipped for sure, but he surely won't be the only one.

There's going to be a ton of speculation "going around", I wouldn't put much faith in it, the facts will come out eventually.

The Kushner speculation is from Michael Cohen.

^Dunning-Kruger effect.

I'm convinced it's one of the key factors in the rise of the deplorables, amplified by social media.

A prime example of why you can't fix stupid!

Marjorie Taylor Greene: You Can Ignore Trump News, God Has A Plan

Quote:
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) is asking the Republican base to keep up the faith following Donald Trump’s third criminal indictment.

The Georgia politician told conservatives to ignore the news and trust in God’s plan while appearing on the far-right cable network Real America’s Voice to talk about the former president’s latest legal challenges.

“It is worrisome about what’s going to happen in our future, but I always have hope,” Greene said during an interview on “Human Events with Jack Posobiec.”

“It’s important that we put full faith and hope in God and not anything that we see in the headlines and not anything that we see happening in the news,” she went on.

“Our real hope needs to be in God. And Jesus Christ is my savior,” Greene said. “And I know he is yours as well. And God has plans much bigger than this.”

If God is in control, then Biden is God's chosen president no?

It's also amusing that Republicans wail and gnash their teeth at Biden's supposed abuse of the DoJ with the Trump indictments.

Then they say "just wait until we elect Trump and abuse the DoJ to get revenge!!".

Tell me you have no principles without telling me you have no principles. Though I guess "doing whatever one can to gain power and punish your enemies" is a principle...
