I watched Smith’s announcement then popped over to Truth Social, which was highly entertaining. They’re going nuts over there. I wonder if Yoho has an account. Please let Rudy, Bobo and MTG be among the unnamed co-conspirators.

Unnamed co-conspirators, according to professor at NYU School of Law Andrew Weissmann (and former US Assistant Attorney)...

1. Rudy Giullani
2. John Eastman
3. Sidney Powell
4. Jeff Clark
5. Kenneth Chesebro
6. ? Some speculation it's Steve Bannon.

Probably dozens more by the time all is said and done.

I skimmed the indictment and a key part of it is that Trump repeatedly relayed messages he knew to be false. The funny thing is, with his pathological narcissism, I'm not sure he did "know" them to be false despite being told so by basically all his advisors. I think, despite all evidence, he still believes all the lies he told. 100 knowledgeable advisors are no match for the "truth" he feels in his gut.

It will be interesting to see if that comes into play as part of the defense.

I’d love nothing more than to see that reprehensible sack of s*** behind bars where he belongs, but unfortunately he’ll likely never see the inside of a jail cell.

Best case scenario is that this somehow forces him to drop out of the race, and even that’s probably a long shot. What a f***ed up country.

I'd honestly be somewhat open to an insanity plea. I 100% believe he is insane.

I want him to run; Biden destroys him and it’ll be glorious.

My guess is Roger Stone.

Peter Navarro and Ginny Thomas are other names that come to mind.

He won’t and can’t. Sociopaths aren’t insane by legal definition. Plus he has better odds taking the conviction, and getting himself or DeSantis to pardon him.

Given the laser focus of the charges this appears to be a play to trial and convict prior to the election.

Then its up to the public to choose punishment

LOL, my place of work is directly across from the Federal courthouse in DC. We had an all hands for my division on the calendar for this Thursday and it was encouraged that if you are in town, to go in person. With the arraignment scheduled for 4PM Thursday, I'm guessing I'll see some different guidance tomorrow...

Also, I had to defer Federal jury duty at that DC Federal court earlier this year. Now, I'm sort of hoping for a summons!
