AFC West:

Kansas City 3-1
Oakland 2-3
Denver 2-3
San Diego 2-3

I don't think 2nd place in that division will make the playoffs. It will be a dogfight to win that division and get into the playoffs.

The Saints are fine, they just have half their team out with injuries, that is what is wrong with them.

Yup....as average/bad as the Packers have been this season, they are tied for 4th in the conference. The teams ahead of them are Atlanta, Chicago and Tampa friggin Bay. 2 of those teams so far out of the play off scenario last year they couldnt even see them on TV.

Simply the strangest NFL season I remember.

Yeah there are a few teams that have been decimated...and they want to add 2 more games to the schedule. There has to be an increase of at LEAST 12 roster players if they go ahead and do that as has been reported.

San Diego has to have the worst first 3 road game special team performance in history. They continue to lose games for the Chargers, I love it.

Chiefs D really did play a good game against the Colts today, but Dwayne Bowe was awful on that one drop, and Matt Cassel simply can't win a game when his team needs him to. Other things are falling into place now the Chiefs need to fix their QB problem. No way you're ever going to beat the Colts unless you can figure out how to put up at least 20 points against them.

That is the problem with the Chiefs in general-they just can't put up offensive points. They need a special teams score, and one from the defence at least every game to compete. Without that they are really not in the game.

Still a great start for the season, and its still exciting to see them playing as well as they are. I just hope that they find someone better than Cassel for next season.

I remember I wanted the Chiefs to draft Rodgers when he started falling in that draft. IMO Trent Green was down to his last 2 years at the time it was a toss up between either one of those guys for top QB in the draft. No doubt a steal for the Packers.

This game never really felt close though. SF had a shot at the end but it felt like the Eagles were in control the entire game.

True, but I get the feeling we will still see the usual culprits in the final four - ex. PIT, IND, NYG.

The Chiefs D is legit. I have a big framed picture of Romeo Crennel over my fire place. What he has done with that defense in less than one season is simply amazing. Peyton Manning looked frustrated as hell all game long.

Unfortunately on the other side of the ball the Chiefs have the worst QB in the league. I was tweeting with Kent Babb of the Kansas City Star last night. He was tweeting that the Chiefs are looking incredible except for one thing, no QB. I asked him how Pioli, who has done so much right, could not see that Cassel has no talent. He tweeted back that loyalty to his pals back in New England clouded his judgement. So I guess some media in KC basically feel that Pioli was swindled or sweet talked into trading for Cassel. Too bad really because this team looks very good in most aspects of the game.

In fairness to Cassel, he did have a 30 yard TD pass to Dewayne Bowe that would have given the Chiefs the lead later in the game. Butter fingers Bowe simply dropped it. Bowe has pretty much turned into an embarrasement at this point. Thats unfortunate since he looked to be a blossoming NFL star in his rookie year.
