Troy Baker had a bigger role than I was expecting. I figured he'd just be one of the henchmen, not James. He did a solid job.

So satisfying to see this Joel go full cold blooded killer. It's been a long time since I played the first game, so I've been remembering as I go and not really been able to directly compare it to the show in my head. But this chapter I remembered 100%, it was one of the most visceral experiences I've had in any game and it's permanently etched in my brain. And they absolutely nailed it beat-for-beat, probably more than any other episode to date. Their set design is incredible, that restaurant/lodge was almost a carbon copy
Oh and if there was anyone left still doubting Bella Ramsey, I don't think they have much left to say now. That was Emmy worthy

Yeah, I agree. That's an instance where the dialogue that made sense for the video game version of Ellie didn't need to be ported over verbatim... but it's a minor issue.

Best part of that episode was that finally Waterton (which I love) was shown in its natural form. Businesses boarded up for winter, wind howling and snow a plenty.
But yes, amazing episode! How is there only one left????
Lol, right? Pretty easy to turn Waterton into a post-apocalypse ghost town in the winter.
By far my favorite show right now, and I'm so sad that it's over after the next episode. At least we have the Mandalorian I suppose...
There's You season 4 too - second half comes out on friday. But I know it's not everybody's cup of tea (particularly if you need your shows to be grounded and super realistic).
