The OPI challenge was fine. It was a longshot, but the reward of winning it was so significant that it was worth a first timeout, particularly when you add in the benefit of putting the game on pause while the Rams were rolling, and showing support to your guy. I have no problem with that one.
If they make the 48 yarder the call at the end of the half doesn't get second guessed, but I do agree with you that going for it was the correct thing to do.

Just finished, can't believe Zuerlein missed it!! 57 yarder and hits it right down the middle with 10 yards to spare in the NFCCG, then he misses that one. I didn't think he was able to miss FGs. So many swings down the stretch in that game, crazy
I thought it was a foregone conclusion he'd make it.
On another note, go to 14:02 here...
... How the heck is he down? That should be a fumble, no? If the kick was good we'd probably be second-guessing that one.

Seattle kicker missed one, so did the Rams. McVey would've been lucky if they won?
4 and 1 and the two Ram games came down to last drives last year and Seattle.lost both.
Carroll made multiple poor decisions that should have made this a much easier win, instead it came down to a kicker missing a kick he makes 90% of the time. That's pretty lucky.

He's thrown for 160 yards early in the second. McCoy has 16 yards passing.
Yeah but only 6 points on the board and a couple misses. Patriots looking like they all put money on the Skins to cover and won't try scoring too much until they need to.

This has easily been Teddy Bridgewater's best game as a Saint so far..15/18 and 2 TDs in the first half. He's been getting better and looking more confident every game
