I was sad, and didn't understand, why Pux attacked literally every animal in the first round.

Because I'm an idiot and dumb luck. I just thought I could kill anyone and those that didn't die were just predators of a higher level than me. Then I re-read the rules and realized that I could have been killed if I ate the wrong person.... I really shouldn't be playing this game  And I was approached by someone for a deal at one point in the game, but it never came to fruition... that was tough.
