I was reading this article on thatcher demko and it mentions that gillies has been playing with a lower body injury for the last few months. That could explain some of his poorer showings in the last while.

That line has 78 points in 14 games. Craziness!

THROW YOUR HATS!
Hat trick, Arnold (SHG, PPG, even-strength). Johnny with the assist, and back to 2.0PPG.

I am stoked about Bill Arnold. I think he Kulak and Klimchuk are our most underrated prospects.

Sign them both as soon as the season is over. Offer Gaudreau a full ride scholarship to finish his school during the summers. And several million more on top.

BC wins 6-1. 3G for Arnold, 3A for Gaudreau.
Arnold scored his third at 10:46 of the third, and I don't think their line stepped on the ice again the rest of the game.
They're kind of good at the playing of the hockey.
Next up, they go for their fifth straight Beanpot title on Monday night against Northeastern at the Garden.

Wisconsin defeated #1 ranked Minnesota back-to-back this week, so it's possible that BC could make the jump to #1 in the nation in next week's polls. They are 13-0-1 since the start of December, with 7 straight wins.

Eric Roy had a goal in Brandon's 8-1 win over Swift Current. Coda Gordon had nothing
And most importantly: Keegan Kanzig had an assist. A POINT FOR KANZIG!!!!!

Santini with a big hit in the BC game, not sure if it is cause he is wearing #6 or not but... :
Also a few interesting stats from BC Interuption:
Quote:
Hockey East is, for the most part, a tight, parity-filled conference. It's also the nation's strongest conference, with the best out-of-conference record of any league, and has 8 teams in the top 20 of the Pairwise Rankings. And yet, BC is just blowing everyone away, to the tune of 13-1-1 league record.
|
Quote:
-The Eagles have not been held under 4 goals at home since scoring 2 against UMass in November -- the only time this year that's happened.
|
Quote:
-And most astounding of all, BC can lock up the Hockey East regular season title on Valentine's Day weekend if they sweep Vermont (or go 1-1 and Lowell loses to UMass).
|
So the Bean Pot and Hockey East title are both up for grabs next week! I expect big things from JG and B.A.... B.A. Barackus. Hrm...

Didn't see this posted anywhere but an article on the other boards has a ranking of drafted QMJHL defenseman. Ryan Culkin was ranked #2 behind only Samuel Morin. We need to sign him.

Yeah, I guess there is plenty of time still, but I sure would like to see Culkin and Kulak inked sooner rather than later.

goal number 38 for Poirier. Gatineau is up 4-3 after two periods.
maybe he can get to 50 this season. He's on pace for 49 right now.

I wouldn't worry about the Flames not signing either, it would be really stupid not to, especially with our current lack of depth of defensive prospects.

Monsieur Poirier scores again! 2 goals tonight, 7 in his last 3 games.
