Interesting... raonic already lost to sock this year so hopefully he can build on the rogers cup and put a string on good nasters level touraments together. Can you recall what surface raonic lost to sock on?

CBC has stepped up the coverage outside of the match today imo, have made it feel more like a big event with a great intro and lots of interviews and discussion before the matches started.

Womens SF on right now, kind of watching in the background... Li is losing to some Romanian I've never seen before with the worst case of mouth herpes ever.

Haha, she is definately not bad looking otherwise, playing great this week too.

Milos and Vashy both look a little nervous at times here to me, but both serving bombs.

Such a weird dynamic with Vasek having dominated Milos when they were coming up through juniors and then Milos being the big dog for the last couple years.

Just playing out perfectly, both guys have a set and can hold their head up no matter what. Vasek spanked Milos in set 2. He he been the better player so far imo. All down to one set now though, should be fun.

Cheesy cliche but really too bad somebody had to lose. Really happy for Milos but sad for Vasek. Big step frward for both players anyway. Vasek got a crappy draw for Cincinnati but hope he can keep the momentum going. One more good tourney and he be top 25 and have a way easier road next year.

Amazing. Both guys should be really proud. Congrats to Raonic on his top 10 ranking. Very cool.

Raonic to #8
Pospisil to #37

Vasek is one good tournament away from being a seed at 250s and getting easy 1st round matchups.

yeah I have Raonic at #10 and Pospisil at #40.
If Raonic wins tomorrow, he'll pass Stan 'the man' Wawrinka into 9th.
